Plot Summary: After
a home invasion leaves a couple shaken, they find comfort in a
seemingly helpful police officer. However, the officer's
interest in the couple, particularly the wife, escalates into an
intense and dangerous obsession. He begins to manipulate their
lives and insert himself into their marriage, creating a
terrifying and escalating power struggle.

Dad's Preview:
What makes this film so watchable is the fact that it
could happen to any one of us homeowners. Kurt Russell
(in a film similar to his 1997 success
Breakdown) excels as a regular guy thrust into
an extraordinarily dangerous situation. He doesn't know
how to handle things. Ray Liotta also impresses as the
unhinged officer. Nobody does crazy better than Liotta - it's all in his eyes.
This taut thriller will keep you on edge all the way to
its rewarding conclusion. |
