Plot Summary:
Frances Mayes is a successful writer whose life unravels after a
painful divorce. Seeking a fresh start and escape from her
heartbreak, she takes a trip to Tuscany, Italy, and impulsively
buys a dilapidated villa. As she renovates her new home, Frances
encounters a colorful cast of characters and experiences a
journey of self-discovery and unexpected joys.
