connection between himself and the villainous leader of the
group. Ultimately, Bond must thwart a high-tech surveillance
plot and confront his past in a battle to save his allies and
the future of the British secret service.
Dad's Preview:
Spectre divided critics. Some thought is was a master
work, while others felt it long and under-whelming. I honestly
cannot find a lot of fault with it, as I have tempered my
expectations to enjoy it for what it is: an action-packed
thriller about the coolest f'ing spy ever. Hell, we now both
have Q and Moneypenny along. Folks gotta not take these Bond
film too serious. It's popcorn entertainment at its best. Daniel
Craig continues to dazzle us with his amazing deeds and
steel-blue eyes. Q is quite the hipster, dropping one-liners
with ease. Ms. Seydoux looked great, but needed more to do. All
in all, it is a very good Bond entry that keeps this generation
of films humming along.
