I've got a trig midterm tomorrow, and I'm being chased by Guido
the killer pimp." -

Why watch this? No
film encapsulates the '80s RomCom like this one. It's smart and
sexy, yet also crude and funny.
Plot Summary:
During his parents' vacation, an upper-class high school senior
named Joel Goodsen takes advantage of his newfound freedom by
engaging in risky behavior, including throwing a massive party
at his house, encountering a call girl and dealing with Guido,
the killer pimp.
Dad's Preview:
A young high school senior, Joel, feels the weight and pressure
from this over-achieving parents. When they take a weekend trip,
he decides to throw a bash at his swanky home. This sets in
motion a series of calamities, the worse being an encounter with
a very angry pimp. Once again Cruise is in charge, but it's
Curtis Armstrong as Joel's foul-mouthed buddy Miles, who
delivers many memorable lines.
