In the lawless Old West town of Redemption, ruled by the
ruthless John Herod, a mysterious female gunslinger arrives

cast of gunslingers with their own reasons for participating,

aspiring gunfighter seeking validation from Herod.
Dad's Preview:
Sharon Stone portrays a gunslinger in the old West.
What?! Yet, she pulls it off. There is a quick-draw contest in
Redemption. The dusty town is lorded over by the ruthless
John Herod, played by Gene Hackman. Aiding the film's success are some wonderful
performances by two new stars: Leonard DiCaprio
and Russell Crowe. It's full of Western clichés, but that's the
point of it.
