Plot Summary:
Teenage twin sisters, separated at birth due to their parents'
divorce, unexpectedly meet each other for the first time at
summer camp. Realizing they are sisters, the two devise a plan
to switch places after camp to get to know the parent they've
never met. Their ultimate goal, however, is to scheme to reunite
their divorced parents.
Dad's Preview:
I know this is a girl's story, but I've always secretly
loved it. Mills always impressed me by playing both
sisters. I also an a huge fan the adult actors: Brian Keith and
Maureen O'Hara. The premise is essentially "separated at birth" due
to a painful divorce - one child goes with Mom, one with Dad.
Then, by chance, the girls meet a summer camp and figure out
they are connected. The sisters devise a plan to get Mom and Dad back
together again, and renew their family. Mom and Dad,
however, have moved on, so the plan has its obstacles. It's part
comedy, part poignant romance, and all Disney magic.
