"Bridge is gone! One of
London's oldest landmarks smashed like matchwood!
Nothing has
stopped this beast so far, nothing!" - Radio Reporter
Why watch this?
Gorgo is an excellent giant monster film! I will forever
remember the beast's eerie shriek!
Plot Summary:
An undersea volcanic eruption off the coast of Ireland releases
a colossal, amphibious creature. This creature is subsequently
captured by salvagers and brought to London to be displayed as a
circus attraction. However, it is soon discovered that this
monster is merely a juvenile, and its much larger, enraged
mother is now heading towards London, bent on rescuing her
offspring.
Dad's Preview:
This joint film production (UK, US and Ireland) delivers a scary
and suspenseful monster tale on the heels of Godzilla's
unexpected screen
success. A huge creature is captured in a fishing net in the
English Channel. It's taken to London, and put on public
display (always a bad idea). What folks don't expect is that its
much larger MOTHER is now coming to
free her baby, and she's not happy about it! Don't miss this
enormous adventure!
