Dad's Preview:
Disney animation had a quality problem in the 1980's. This film
changed all that immediately. It's exciting, funny and a beauty
to behold. There are many memorable characters and incredible
musical numbers. Memorable characters include the French candlestick Lumiere, the British
tea kettle Mrs.
Potts and the unforgettably conceited huntsman Gaston. This
musical is big
and bold, yet tender and intimate. It restored Disney's
reputation as a quality producer of cinematic animation.
