"Some thought they
were not lions at all, but the spirits of dead medicine men come
back to spread madness.
Or they were the devil sent to stop the
white man from owning the world." -
Samuel
Why watch this? It's a genuinely scary film about
two vicious lions hunting human prey in the
night.
Plot Summary:
During the late 19th century, Lieut. Col. John Henry Patterson
is tasked with building a railway bridge in Kenya, a project
facing delays due to attacks on workers. Two notoriously cunning
and vicious lions, dubbed "The Ghost" and "The Darkness" by the
local workers, terrorize the construction site, seemingly
killing for sport rather than hunger and exhibiting an almost
supernatural ability to evade traps. As the death toll rises and
the project faces ruin, Patterson reluctantly teams up with
renowned hunter Charles Remington to track and kill the fearsome
beasts.
Dad's Preview:
Man-eating lions that attack only at night. OK, that is
terrifying. This a great popcorn thriller,
set in the sparsely beautiful scenery of the African continent,
will keep you on the edge of your seats.
